Nature Conservancy's Annual Young Professionals

The Nature Conservancy NYC Young Professionals Group (YPG) will be hosting its annual benefit to support conservation efforts in NY State. This winter, they expect approximately 350 young professionals to attend what has become a highly anticipated annual event to raise funds in support of The Nature Conservancy’s work on Tug Hill Plateau.

Nestled between Lake Ontario and the Adirondacks, Tug Hill harbors over 2,100 square miles of hardwood forest and is one of the few large, intact landscapes remaining in the United States. A haven for roaming wildlife such as bobcats, coyote, and the occasional black bear, Tug Hill receives over 20 feet of snow annually - the heaviest snowfall east of the Rockies – and cradles the headwaters of thousands of miles of wetlands, streams, and rivers.
